Join us for a fun filled day with two sessions of educational classes!
We will start at 10am-11:30 then break for lunch (you are welcome to bring food or purchase lunch at the farm stand.) Second class starts at 12pm-1:30. Days we offer classes are: Wednesday’s “Littles”, Thursday’s 7-12yr old group and Friday’s 13-17yr olds. 
First Class- Farm Tour and Bee Museum -
Get a close look at our observation hives! What a beekeeper does, pollination, bee jobs and what’s in the hive. Stroll through the garden, orchards and learn how the foods we eat rely on bee pollination. 
Second Class- Farm, Soil, Compost and Garden Studies-
Learn about soil fertility, regenerative farming practices and how we produce our beautiful food! You will also get to meet our Dairy Cows and learn all about our compost cycle. 
7yrs-12yrs or 13-17yrs old. The focus of the presentation will be tailored to suit different age groups. Space is limited, sign up early to insure your spots! Parents are welcome to join or stay on property and enjoy a shady spot with lunch.
Farm Play Day for the “Littles”
Come learn about the story of bees! Tour our bee museum! Play interactive games, enjoy story telling and take a stroll through our farm. See turkeys, chickens, dairy cows and our vegetable and flower gardens.

Hands on Honey Bee Workshop

Maui Bees offers 1-1/2 to 2 hour beekeeping tours. Learn about the life cycle of the beehive and the important role that honey bees play in agriculture.  

Study the inner workings of our observation beehive and then suit up, light a smoker and open a hive with one of our beekeepers to taste fresh honey and have a hands on experience with thousands of these gentle insects and their queen.

Tours are limited to 6 participants and last approximately 1-1/2 to 2 hrs.

Regenerative Agriculture Farm Tour

Maui Bees is a holistic community farm located on the slopes of Haleakala in Kula.

Our family and staff live and work here producing eggs, vegetables, honey and value added products from our land.

We invite you to tour our working farm and learn about our stewardship model of soil fertility, composting, animal husbandry and beekeeping on our picturesque 4 acres.

See turkeys, chickens and our family milk cows raised on pasture.

Stroll through our banana, citrus, avocado and apple orchards and enjoy the vegetable and flower gardens.

​Savor the experience of our delicate honeys as you indulge in the complimentary tasting of our three varieties. Learn about the social behavior and importance of bees with our completely safe observation beehive.  

Tours are limited to 15 participants and last approximately 1-1/2 to 2 hrs.​
