Maui Summer Honey…is made by the bees during the summer months between May and October. During this time the bees collect nectar from the Wilelaiki tree that grows on the forest edges and grass pastures on the leeward side of Haleakala. They also visit other secondary sources such as Glycine and Silky Oak. We harvest in November.  Our summer honey has a medium to light amber color and the flavor is mild, with simpler and light floral notes and a very subtle delicate spicy finish.
